I'm not one of these guys who know much about free music on the web. Hopefully, some of our posters do. I know about limewire and was told to stay away from it. I know about rhapsody but that's a pay per song site. Are there any free sites out there that I can go to download an MP3 player?
    thanks

Depending on the type of music you like, there are tons of music blogs that post MP3s.

I like all types bob. C&W, Jazz, punk, funk, old school, reggae, soul. Rhapsody seems to have the best variety but again, you have pay for songs. I'm trying to find free sites.

What I do is keep a blank tape in my boombox at all times while listening to the radio.

When a song I like comes on, I hit record.
I've got some kickass mix tapes over the years. All for free!

Yeah, but I hate it when I only get part of a song or the DJs walk the start or finish of a song.

    iTunes FTW.
