    In principle sure. But when one parent starts trolling for votes, followed by a second and a third, you're compelled to follow suit to give your kid a chance. Merit only goes so far if you only get exposure to 1/1000th of the eyeballs of another competitor.

    Used to be Girl Scouts actually sold the Girl Scout cookies. Now the parents do a lot of the heavy lifting at the office.

    The guy at the office who usually buys Girl Scout cookies and generously hands them out to everyone skipped this year because apparently the Girl Scouts support abortion or some shit.

    One, since when do the Girl Scouts get an opinion that anyone pays attention to?
    Two, WHO CARES! I WANT MY COOKIES!!
