Hate what she said. But what a tragic way to go out. She blazed a trail in impossible terrain, and showed a lot of aspiring female journalists how to get it done. Sad to see such a storied career end in such ugliness.

That's pretty much where I am with this. Very sad to see such a once-great career end on such an ugly moment. Though she probably should've retired a decade or so ago.

I should have retired a couple years out of college.
