No "r" which I find fascinating. You know it's Herbert h-e-r-b-e-r-t, Hebert h-e-b-e-r-t. "Hebert" it's a fun name to pronounce. Try and say it Hebert. Take a shot.

 

In Louisiana it's "Ay-Bear," upon which I was always corrected when I said it the Texas way. In Texas it's "Heebert," hence the pronunciation of the now-defunct Beaumont school which won a state title back in the day.

 

In most states across the nation, it's pronounced "DOOSH-bag."

 

I thought Miles handled this craziness with impressive grace. It was about the only thing Miles did well all night, but he could have turned it into a shouting match, and he just casually answered the question like it was any other.
