He scolds his listeners. I hate that.

He talks down to his audience. I hate that.

Yup and yup. Does he still yell "TIME!" in a cheesy ripoff way of Jim Rome's buzzer? Guy used to boast about "taking more calls than any other host." All that tells me is he doesn't have much to say and is leaning on his audience to be the entertainment.

Nice to see DC's Sports Junkies on the list at No. 45.

I miss listening to them now that I'm not there.

The TV version can be all right. Dennis' Twitter feed is an embarrassment to humanity.

Sustained obnoxticity might have more than a little to do with that.

I get that, but I just don't seem to be able to make the time.

Scott Ferrall is an assault on the auditory sense - and also pretty stupid.

You mean F-R-e-d-d-y C-o-l-e-m-a-n? Every single word out of his mouth is obviously scripted, and he insists on pronouncing every single syllable.

He's terrible. But he's no Gottlieb!

On the other side of the coin, SVP and Russillo are the best pairing in all of media not named Tony and Wilbon.

I don't think any of them are important worth a damn beyond their tiny little world. What? They can get a coach fired, maybe, if he loses enough? BFD.

It's not surprising that a magazine named "Talkers" would believe sports talk radio to be infinitely important.
