He scolds his listeners. I hate that.

He talks down to his audience. I hate that.

 

Yup and yup. Does he still yell "TIME!" in a cheesy ripoff way of Jim Rome's buzzer? Guy used to boast about "taking more calls than any other host." All that tells me is he doesn't have much to say and is leaning on his audience to be the entertainment.

 

Nice to see DC's Sports Junkies on the list at No. 45.

I miss listening to them now that I'm not there.

 

Lightweight blowhard. Next.

 

The TV version can be all right. Dennis' Twitter feed is an embarrassment to humanity.

 

Sustained obnoxticity might have more than a little to do with that.

I don't think any of them are important worth a damn beyond their tiny little world. What? They can get a coach fired, maybe, if he loses enough? BFD.

 

It's not surprising that a magazine named "Talkers" would believe sports talk radio to be infinitely important.
