Sorry I haven't been posting here lately, but you're about to understand why.

The biopsy results from the Mayo Clinic came back.
    Not what I wanted.
    Back in transplant mode.

Any advice, stories, whatever? I'll listen.

Damn, I'm sorry to hear this. I know we mock thoughts and prayers around here, but you are in mine.

Unsure of what to type, but we are all in the press box cheering you on. I think it's allowed in this instance.

I wish I could offer something other than the lame “you’re in my thoughts,” but I won’t even try. Keep fighting.

Do as the physicians and every other specialist tell you. Hang in there. Let us know how things are going.

    Take care.

    Get a good one!:)

Seriously, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Also a heads up to the rest of us to make sure we are listed as organ donors on our drivers licenses. And I've mentioned this to others facing medical uncertainty, understand you aren't going through this alone - that friends and family are as well, and anything you can do to comfort them - allowing them to support you, taking care of anything you can to make this uncertain time a little more certain - power of attorney, medical care, documents etc. So you - and they - can focus on your recovery limiting any worries or unknowns, is extremely helpful.

So sorry you’re going through this. See if there’s a support group for transplant patients at the hospital or in your area. People who have been through it will have practical advice for you. My dad had a kidney transplant and said the support group he joined was invaluable. Good luck.

+1 on being an organ donor. I was impressed when my teenager checked the box without me even mentioning it.

Wishing you all the best, dan. We're here for you anytime.

All the best to you. My husband's niece had a heart and kidney transplant last year, she was very sick most of her life. She had a congenital heart condition and wasn't expected to live very long. She was 45 when she got the transplant. The thing I've seen from watching her and reading the things she writes, is to assemble the best possible medical team that you can. She did hers at UCLA and her team is amazing.

I send the love of the household, my friend.

Let us know what we can do.

I have no specific information about anything, but please DM me if you need a place to vent.

    Hang in there.
