Health Care - Get It Done

Now that Obama has stepped up it appears like it might get done. I've come around and think the House should just go ahead and pass the Senate version so we can move on. Adjustments can be made as we move forward.

I think just the opposite. The Democrats can seize the moment here and look like heroes. The Republicans will look like obstructionists.

It's been a pretty wild roller coaster ride.

I agree. GOP is at risk and putting itself even further out of the mainstream by taking the position that people don't really want reform. GOP is going to be down to an angry mob before long.

I'm looking forward to the montage that CNN puts together if it passes - got to include some Teddy Roosevelt and Truman footage, Teddy Kennedy, the Clintons, Harry and Louise and the various charges, counter charges made in the last year. All to the ER theme.

I don't see how passing this could hurt Obama since none of the changes would phase in till 2013.
