HDTV quandry

    I did mull it over.. would you be happy to have the 27" CRT it's replacing? It's 10 years old but works well... If you don't want it, I think it might be going to Goodwill for the tax deduction... unless you want it, of course.

    Make sure it's not 720p, I bet that's why it's so cheap.

    It is 720p/1080i....
    But the other model they have is 200 bucks more and 720p too

    Update -- pulled the trigger. Dell wouldnt take the gift card when I paid with their credit, but will sell that card on ebay. Won't get 200, but they go for 175 give or take and since I got it for free, it still brings the cost down to like 550, including tax and shipping.
    Oh, found it on line between like 950-1400 bucks... Anyone who entered the hoopool this year can come over and watch what their entry fee looks like... oops
