    OK, in a nutshell...

found this TV on line... 37 inch Phillips

Found a link where it's 899 at Dell with 200 off and I have a 200 buck gift card... with shipping is like $550... good ratings from cnet...
I don't need it and I;m heading into summer where money is tighter. But, between the discount and gift card, it's cheap enough where I would seriously think about it.. and of course it would, ahem, go in my office for the tax deduction...

Please help convince me to pull the trigger... Ms. Slappy isn't saying no (it's my Dell account) but isn't exactly jumping at it....

Forgot to add, I also have a 37 inch Vizio in the living room. This would be for the bedroom

Buy the TV. Give me the Vizio. Everyone wins.

    Hold off, go bigger.
The Playboy advisor recommends picking a size, then going one up because most people who go HD wish they would have gone bigger.
My girlfriend just bought us a tv - 46-inch LCD.
Go at least 40, spend the extra money, you won't regret it.

Put the Vizio in the bedroom.

Sounds like a girlfriend worth keeping.

It sounds like a good deal, Slap. But if that gift card isn't ready to yet expire and your space in the living room can accomodate a bigger unit, I'd see if there were good deals for a bigger HDTV out there.

Living room really can't as much as we'd like to have one. We want to keep the entertainment center and we had to do some rebuilding of this one... a 42" would be a bit too high.
And I just looked.. this TV has ambilight... ooooh

If that's the case, Slap, I'd probably pull the trigger. Had to ask about the bigger TV ... but I've also seen some who are limited because of size of room/AV stand/entertainment center.

I'm guessing my suggestion doesn't work for you, slap?
