HD DVD vs Blu-Ray? Porn industry is going with

Not to interrupt the Consumer Reports discussions, but I think the point of this thread title was a more important subject: How would naughty videos look in high def?

Do we want to see these people in high def? If HD can reveal wrinkles and acne on actors and other people who are paid to look healthy and attractive (TV anchors), what will these people and their, uh, parts look like?

Also, this could start a discussion on how man uses his brain to advance technologies in new ways, only to use that technology to address our most primitive desires. Or it could mean we just like high-def boobs.

 

Both Blu-Ray and HD DVD players are backward-compatible, meaning they both play normal DVDs.

 

Hmm....That's a hell of a point. Maybe we should agree that porn shouldn't be produced in high-def. Man Law?

 

Ya'll up in Canada must not have had the laser discs. The video store in my town, circa 1981 had about 45 percent vhs, 45 percent Beta and the rest was laser discs. I distinctly remember my dad renting the cartoon version of the Hobbit on laser disc. I guess he figured since it was a cartoon it would be good for kids to watch.
But I do remember renting the player to go with the movies.

 

A buddy of mine flew into Vegas last night. When I saw this thread, I immediately called him to make sure he knew what was going on. He'd just gotten off the golf course and is headed to the Venetian tonight to check it out.
