Having lived several springs in Winter Haven, I'd like to say that this doesn't surprise me at all.

shit like this makes me happy i moved back into the country.

 

As horrible and moronic as the story is, I love the deadpan sentence at the end of the fourth paragraph:
"It is rumored that a snowman was decapitated."

My thought, too, as if it's a mitigating circumstance. "But your honor, he deCAPitated the Snowman! Any reasonable man would have responded the same way."
