Have you ever bought anything from an infomercial?

Carleton Sheets' "no money down" home investing tapes about 10 years ago. That was a real one-beer-too-many move on my part.

Oh, I did buy ProActiv Solution once. It dried out my face something fierce. I don't use it any more.

Anyone want to buy it off me? :D

Reminds me of perhaps my all-time favorite Onion headline: "Man Who Bought Entire Set Of 'Mama's Family' Tapes Vows Never To Go On E-Bay Drunk Again"

That reminds me... I did fall sucker to one of those adds where you can make money taking out little classified ads to advertise a product (or a 900 chat line).
I think the only reason I bought it was the 30-day money back guarantee it came with. I sent the kit back for my money back and it was eventually refunded.

Holy crap.... Don Lapre right? I forgot I bought that one, too. What a waste of an experience. I wrote a column about it for my college paper. The only good thing (pre-Internet) to come out of that purchase was the big book of newspaper contacts.

Couldn't remember his name until you just mentioned it, but that's it -- Don LaPre

I bought the Perfect Pushup today, only I got it at Big 5 Sporting Goods.

I plan on looking like Daniel Craig in CASINO ROYALE by Christmas.

I was wondering when this was going to pop up.

Rockford, what'd they want you to do with these? I've always been curious to see exactly where the scam was here.

  12. No just meat.
Its a grill that uses newspapers to cook the meat.
