"Hasn't looked back"

    Resurrecting this thread. "Felt" for "believed" or, what is appropriate, "said."

    Example from last night,

    "Coach Blah felt his girls,". The comma made it worse. Changed to "said." Didn't want to get the coach in trouble for bizarre motivational technique.

    Untracked means a crash would be inevitable if a train jumped its tracks.

    So not only is the word extraneous but it's stupid if a team is doing well or a player is scoring a lot.



    The White House is a building. It also is an administrative institution. The president does not comment on everything specifically but his spokesperson does, and is therefore speaking for The White House administration. Thus the phrase, as silly as it sounds.
