Either way, his account is still active. Just hasn't logged on since March 14. If KU can make the Final Four, that could coax him back into a cameo appearance.

Whatever this is supposed to mean, this is his tagline:

"Due mainly to its overwhelming popularity, The Double J Show is on indefinite hiatus."

  6. Which, when combined with his Fonz "Jump the Shark" avatar, implies Double J has indeed jumped the shark.

I didn't ever notice him being any different, always was about the arcane music knowledge and crotchitiness about political correctness.

Sorry to be so cryptic, everybody. There's some stuff going on that I can't get into right now, at least not publicly, but I do have a very good reason for laying (lying?) low.

Still lurking here, though - I feel safe in doing that. :)

I just needed a sabbatical. I felt like a dick for agreeing with a few things that were posted by a highly-disliked member, and just kept questioning myself about it. Though those who really know me understand I'm not the shallow, immature, ignorant dude I come off as on SportsJournalists.com sometimes, I'm going to try to treat the site a little more closely to how serious I take this business.

We'll see how long that lasts.
