Harry Caray's Diary of a Drunken Man

The CEO of Harry Caray's restaurant chain found Harry's 1972 day planner in a box of old memorabilia and handed it over to the Sun-Times' Neil Steinberg.

The diary catalogs all of Harry's bar tabs and appointments. Apparently, Harry visited at least one drinking establishment every day for 288 straight days:

That was in the day when every ball park had a bar in the press room, too.

 

Who knows what he may have done after a night of drinking with Wilt.
