Unfortunately, Tim Hardaway spoke what many players, current and former, are feeling.
Like it or not, there are gay pro athletes. Only until a prominent one comes out will the attitudes change. Not before.

How is that? James said he would feel as though he couldn't trust someone who didn't come out. Hardaway said he hates homosexuals.

To me, there's a big difference there.

There's a huge difference between what James said and what Hardaway said...

any apology that includes a variation on the theme 'i'm sorry if it offended anyone' is a non-apology. it's not an apology when you turn it around and blame me for how i feel. it's only an apology if you apologize for what you said, did or thought.

The black community shuns homosexuality much worse than the white community. He's merely saying whats been going on in the community for centuries.

Just curious, has Rush weighed in on this yet?

Honestly, I don't care if he does. What he says is irrelevant to me.

I wonder if Hardaway would say it to Omar's face. :)

And that doesn't make it a proper opinion to have. There was a book that came out on this subject a few years ago -- "Down Low," maybe?
