Happy Mother's Day

I sent my mom flowers earlier this week (first time I've sent anybody flowers) and called her today.

 

many, many bored moms out there. ;D 8)

That's only if you believe the letters that are allegedly in those adult magazines. :

 

Wife & I don't have kids yet, but I gave her a good laugh today.
I gave her a mother's day card from the cat.



As I posted on Random Thoughts... I spent Mother's Day with the in-laws while my mom spent Mother's Day with my brother (who is disabled)

I was stranded in Wisconsin overnight because of a vehicle breakdown.

I'm home now. Thanks for the wishes -- and btw, I'm not the only mom on the board.

 

I took my mom to an event at the Governor's mansion earlier this week.
It was quite the gala and my little hometown weekly is going to write it up.
It was fun, my mom can be cool.

 

Rosie is right; she's not the only mom. That beauty to the left is my one + only...

 

When I was still in college I took my mom to the H.O.R.D.E concert for her birthday. We blew all our money on beer while listening to the Black Crowes, Blues Traveler, etc.

My everlasting memory of that night is my drunk mother leaning over the counter at a late-night fast food joint counting out her change and asking me if she had enough for a cheeseburger.

She's only 20 years older than me so we've always had good times.
