  1. President Barack Obama has proclaimed May 1st to be Loyalty Day.

    Seriously. Can you imagine the backlash if a Republican did something like this? May 1st? Seriously. It is becoming parody yet some of you will not see that the joke is on you.

    Originated in 1921, officially designated by Congress in 1958, and every president except Johnson and Nixon have officially issued proclamations since, even if Loyalty Day has its roots in fears commies were going to take over the U.S.

    So I don't have to imagine what would happen if a Republican did this.
