Creepy Guy No. 1: He had to be shot.

Creepy Guy No. 2: (Nodding.)

 

Coworker asked me to cover a boys hoops game tonight and, since I didn't have anything better to do, I said I would.

Said game was about 20 minutes north of me and started at 7 p.m. I did the math in my head before hand and figured there was no way I would be able to get in and out of the game in enough time to visit the awesome grocery store in the neighborhood of the school the game was being played because it closes at 8:30 p.m.

Lo and behold, somehow the game gets out quick and I'm done with my interviews at 8:18 p.m. I get in my car, breeze through traffic, make it the store at 8:22 p.m., order my stuff from the deli and get out just in time for them to close.

A festivus miracle!
