    They were braced for it to be multiple sclerosis - and that would have been preferable to this. Just awful.

    Had a nice time with my boys and my dad. All though its a made up day, great excuse to see and be with family.

    Sorry DH to hear that; cancer sucks.

    Just as a follow-up, my former brother-in-law died over the weekend. Age 42, leaves behind a 15-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son. Feels weird trying to grieve on your own when none of the adults you knew in common are part of your life anymore. Trying to get this out of my system before I get my kids this weekend, right after they will have returned from the funeral.
