    But Hanukkah, like the entire Jewish calendar, is based on the lunar calendar.

    Hopefully I'm not coming across as a wiseass instead of someone who's curious about this, but its my understanding that its believed that Jesus died on Good Friday and was resurrected on Easter. I would assume those are fixed dates, like his birthday. However the dates for Good Friday and Easter change annually based on the lunar calendar, instead of being a fixed date on the calendar like Christmas. I'm just curious as to why the lunar calendar is used for these two holy days.
