Today is a Texas national holiday. In Mexico, it's just another day.

After all, is defeating a bunch of Frenchmen something to celebrate? ;D

Do they celebrate July 4 in Mexico?

I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.

The French guys had the runs.

Cinco de Mayo in the US is largely a beer-company creation. September 16th is the true Mexican equivalent of July 4th. May 5th is celebrated in Mexico, but it's not anywhere near as big a deal as 9/16.

    I love Dos Equis.
However, I had it out of a keg at a party I went to on Saturday and had to dump it out after half of it. Not good.

  7. May 5th will always be the day Bobby Sands died of a hunger strike to me.

Just goes to show if you hang around the board long enough you find common ground with everyone, at some point.

Nice grab, Chris. RIP Bobby Sands. Up the Republic!

In that case, today must be Cinco de Hold de Mayo.

Ah, this thread just reminded me of one of my favorite songs:

    Gringo Honeymoon.

    Good times.
