    For those who don't know, November 9 is the anniversary of Carl Sagan's birth. This from the Center for Inquiry:

    A couple other goodies -- a primer in the Fine Art of Baloney Detection and a recording of Sagan's last public address:

    Baking an aple pie from scratch would likely be a public hazard with my cooking skills, so I'll settle for convincing my co-workers I have a dragon in my apartment.

    Interesting guy. Totally unrelated, but he lived in one of the coolest homes you can imagine. It was cut into the side of a gorge and had sort of the style of a tomb.
