August, 2009 ... in deference to my work schedule, I can't do it once football season starts ... JR and I will put on one major NYC 60th blow out.
Yes, folks, we are admitting that JR has just turned 58 and I will do the same on Monday.

We are giving you all 2 years notice... make your plans now, clear your calendars for mid-August 2009, we will outdo any and all SportsJournalists.com gatherings that have ever existed! We're even willing to do this nearly a month before either of us actually hits the big 60...again, because my work sked interferes with the actually dates.

And, once again, to one of SJ's best and classiest guys, Happy Birthday, JR!

I know I'm young, am I allowed to come for that party? It sounds awesome.

Hey! I sat next to spnited. I was afraid to try a spoonful of his bisque because I was certain he'd take my arm off. Well that, and I'm allergic to seafood. But it was mostly my fear of having my arm taken off. ;)

Would that have been during his first or his second bowl? :D

Would have been at any time anyone attempted to touch my bowls of lobster bisque!

That's exactly why I fidgeted during dinner. I wanted to protect my arm! ;)
