    Boy, there's nothing quite as embarrassing as totally ignoring a thread about your birthday because you didn't even KNOW there was a thread about your birthday.

    Thanks for the kind words and wishes. Birthday was fine -- there's nothing quite like getting your birthday salute in your local bar when it also happens to be Biker Night.

    And since I'm only drinking red wine these days, I was sitting there drinking red wine and getting an ice cream cake -- in a bar filled with bikers.

    Fortunately, they let it slide.
