Would have been 110 today. But a man is only as old as the woman he feels.

If you've never read the classic Roger Evert interview, Go! And never darken my towels again!

Whatever it is, I'm against it.

Just wait 'til I get through with it.

The beauty of Groucho is that he's so far in the past that if you're under 30 years old and can quote him, people think you're the wittiest man alive in a bar.

    Same goes for Mark Twain.

My favorite Groucho quote is on politics.

"Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies."

    Also:

"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you've got it made."

Funny, since we were talking about him a little while ago (anniversary of his death, maybe), I put 'Duck Soup' in our Netflix queue. It was pretty far down the list.
Now it's scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

Of course, in Alabama, the tusks are looser.

12 years in Leavenworth or 11 years in Twelveworth.

Netflix has yet to stock "Horsefeathers", which is an American Tragedy (their not stocking Horsefeathers . . . not Horsefeathers, itself).

    Cut the cards.

I checked the spelling before I inputted it, too. Go figure. Glad to see.
It's the proper time of year for it.
