    Thanks y'all ... my boss took me out for a lovely lunch at a cafe nearby our office. We started with calamari (the non-breaded type, served with grape tomatoes, capers and chickpeas, all drizzled in olive oil). She had the Nicoise salad with Ahi tuna. I had the mussels and scallops spaghettini.

    We're having a 35 C day plus our internet went down. So I decided to come home and work. I wasn't in the door for 10 minutes but lunch came forcing me into a second taste in a rather unpleasant manner.

    The boss is ill, too.

    The damn calamari.

    Food poisoning for my birthday. That's the kind of summer it's been.
