How would poring over old boxscores on his birthday be different from any other day of buckdub's life? :D

Hapy Birthday Buck, it was fantastic hanging out with you in Seattle.

Just remember, if you ever want to come over for the Grapefruit League, you've always got somewhere to crash.

Hey. No one's sadder than me. In every way possible.

I hope you enjoy your day, Mr. Weaver. Bobby Bonilla is, undoubtedly, enjoying his. He's nursing his ribs, too. What a waste. How could they put so much money into him? Well, I guess it was an OK purchase before the injury, though they still overpaid for him. I mean, I get it; he's a Brooklyn kid, who had a couple strong seasons with Pittsburgh, leading the Pirates into the playoffs -- Bonds, Van Slyke and Drabek helped, too -- but he wasn't going to be a savior on the Mets. It was plain to see. Maybe if Murray was in his prime, Bonilla'd have more of an impact, at least in 1992. 1993 was a waste all around. ...

    Oh, yeah.

    Happy birthday, Buck.

You even got two bonus starters. If you ever bring yourself back to the '90s, they'll be waiting for you.

Anyhoo, buckdub, may all of your Strat-o-Matic rolls be off Atlee Hammaker's 1983 pitchers card today.

He's more interested in baseball than girls. I'd let it go.
