I would consider the Pixies' Where is my mind as a more fitting song.

That $1 million to get him onto the aircraft carrier was $1 million well-spent.

Speaking of frauds, whatever happened to that wingnut Chalabi?

  9. On this board, last year, there was a spirited discussion about the Israeli-Lebanese-Hezbollah war. Well her, on the anniversary of Fredo's Excellent Adventure, the Israeli government teaches us how to do an inquiry -- honest, unsparing, and not giving a damn what the "bad men" might think.

Can we have one of these here now, please?

Wow, it's been four years since the "Mission Accomplished" debacle? Talk about your blunders.

Lest we forget, if May 1, 2003, was not the darkest day in the history of television news, it was easily in the top three. Chris Matthews is still wiping his chin.

"Major combat operations" ended four years ago . . . but we can't even set a 2008 timetable for the withdrawal of combat troops.

I guess "minor combat operations" are a bitch, eh?
