Exactly. It's probably the first time in the history of golf that the second nine costs more than the first nine.

Since labor and unions are pretty much done we ought to switch out Labor day
    for 9 /11 holiday.

You shouldn't play nine holes of golf for $9.11 on 9/11 because it's a good deal.
You should do it because you love this country.

I think this one might be the worst (at bottom it reads "The world can change in a day. Don't miss your daily editions of in-depth news."):

How is something like this any different than a big Memorial Day sale? Those don't seem to offend people.

Because the people we honor on Memorial Day died while fighting for something bigger than themselves. People we honor on 9/11 were murdered in cold blood.

Um ... huh? What does that even mean? So a huge sale to commemorate tens of thousands of fallen soldiers is OK, but a special deal on the day of a horrific terrorist attack is not. Just making sure we're on the same page here.

No. A huge sale commemorating the sacrifice made to preserve our way of life is OK.

    Oh ..... OK.

For the record, it would be equally stupid and offensive for a business to run a Memorial Day ad saying, "Play a round of golf for $33.72, in memory of the 3,372 military casualties in Iraq!"
