Thanks, mb. Real swell of you. Because Clevelanders don't get enough of this from the networks every time the Indians/Cavaliers/Browns make the playoffs.

I'm rooting for the Patriots this weekend. I don't care what God thinks of me.

Clearly, your definition of "Happy" and mine are at two completely divergent ends of any spectrum.

This thread sucks, of course. But I did enjoy Dick Enberg's call of Brian Brennan's touchdown catch, which gave the Browns a 20-13 lead.

    "Brennan's got it," Enberg said.

Then neither Enberg nor Merlin Olsen said anything until Mark Moseley's ensuing kickoff. NBC let the scene speak for itself, with epic crowd noice and various shots of Browns fans celebrating at Cleveland Stadium.

That's how I prefer to remember that game.

The amazing thing is how close Denver came to never getting beyond its 10-yard-line.

Of course, if they punted, the Browns would have fumbled it and the Broncos would have returned it for a TD and right now MB would be posting "Happy 25th Anniversary, The Fumble."

Popped it into the DVD tonight.

    Never gets old.

Remember watching it at home, on our big-screen TV that the family got for Christmas a few weeks earlier.

And jumping around like a fool. Much like Sunday night (only at the stadium).

I also hate you, MileHigh. :D

Oh, Brian Brennan, how I loved you. Scrappy little third-down possession receiver.

    Watch this.

Or I'll send you the entire game. :)

One play to remember on that possession is a shotgun snap that brushed the man in motion, but it didn't squirt away. That turnover could have sealed it.
