Hal Mumme has interviewed for the head football opening at McMurry, a DIII school in Texas that is coming of a winless season, has lost 13 in a row and is 16-63 since its last winning season in 2000 (6-4).

Texas is suddenly becoming a graveyard for Kentucky castoffs. Guy Morriss was hired this year at D-II Texas A&M-Commerce.

Morriss has been in Texas for a few years now, right?

He has in-depth knowledge of winless teams. Should be a lock with his experience.
