Hal Mumme to battle cancer

    His procedure was to have been Wednesday, and the story was Tuesday.
    His medication and other stuff will likely be ongoing.
    It could indeed be an accurate title.
    Point is, the title is not that much of a reach. I mean, you can read it and get the drift of what he's facing.

    There've been lots less definitive thread titles offered up on this board.
    Mine's clear enough, I do believe.

    Again, good luck to Coach Mumme (who I've never interviewed or met or even seen in person).

    Instead, he'd fake a punt from his own end zone, with his punter throwing the pass.

    How ironic is it that he's being treated at Kentucky?

    A.) Learn the definition of irony.

    B.) the Markey Cancer Center is one of the top ones in the country.

    C.) June Mumme was treated there for her breast cancer, and she was very involved with the Center for the rest of their time in Kentucky.


    So...not at all ironic.
