Well, it seems no one knows a damn thing...except everyone is just walking in and out of the building, so something ended. New theory that police shot killed the gunman.

ok, here we go....while negotiators were trying to make contact, they heard another shot...gunman shot himself in the head. There was an additional hostage killed (male)...another hostage (female) released unharmed.

So, two dead, including the perp?

Dead--gunman, self-inflicted gunshot during negotiation attempt.
Dead--male hostage, believed to have been killed by initial shots.
Released uninjured--female hostage (something about being duct taped...being treated by paramedics).

Gunman used handgun, .38 or .357.

Is the Earth in some sort of strange fucking cosmic forcefield? What the fuck is up with humanity right now?

If the killer was a NASA person, they either need to do better profiling or do a better job of helping their employees relieve stress.

I'm guessing "hostages" or a synonym was the inaudible word.

I guess I'm screwed if a gunman ever walks into my building.

I check e-mail when I come in, and then afterwards only if I'm expecting something.

Does the term "PA system" not mean anything anymore?

What's next, fire drills by e-mail?
