Pastor, there is something about this week in April every year (OKC, Columbine, VaTech, false alarms, threats, and now NASA) that is beginning to make everyone sick. April 19th and 20th (OKC and Columbine) brings the worse out of some people and the very worse of everything.

I may be wrong - wouldn't be first time, won't be the last - but I thought landings were in Florida, too. Or in Calif when the weather was bad.

I thought Houston was just the training and control center.

It typically might be at the cape.

    But Houston?

Landings are typically done in California. Edwards AFB. Or at the cape.

A couple have been at White Sands, New Mexico.

Something needs to happen on a large scale to promote mid-April as a time for positive change and action, instead of ceeding it over as some sort of hell week for every grudge-carrying psycho in this country.

Well, looks like the rapture is upon us. Glad I went to confession earlier this month. I'll see all of you on the other side -- well, maybe not all of you.

This means tonight we might get to hear Larry King bark, "Houston, HELLO!"

It's the same convergence of events every year:

    Tax season.

The Phillies' annual start from hell.

Mel Kiper analyzes who the Texans might take in the sixth round . . .

What if it's just Harl Hungus, who came over to fix the cab-bull?

The Johnson Space Center is Mission Control for the space station and shuttles in flight, as well as the home of the astronaut office (6th floor of a particular building, if that's being mentioned) and the largest of NASA's training centers. There's also a visitor's center. It's a massive, massive complex. I can't remember the exact figure, but thousands of people work there.

Launches are in Florida. Landings are in Florida and sometimes in California at Edwards.
