    Many can disagree on this announcer or that announcer on how bad they suck or this or that, but I do believe we can all unite on this one and say this was a two-year embarrasment for NFLN on its biggest undertaking thus far, live NFL games.

    Pat Summerall got that way because of advancing age; Bryant Gumbel got that way because of advancing arrogance.

    Gumbel comes across as a person who thinks he knows everything. He's just so smug and he doesn't put any thought or energy into what he says. during the games. So in other words -- HE SUCKS!!

    I like Gumbel on Real Sports, but he was just awful calling games.
