    Hurricane headed for south Texas, home to many refineries, means gas will go up how much?

    Got to go way up-coast to get worried about oil production.

    Otherwise, looks like some good rain for those who need it in the Valley.

    (I'm jealous of the Valley, for once.)

    Mrs. tbf and I decided this week to assemble our very first hurricane prep kit. This will speed us up, I'm sure.

    You know that. I know that. But it doesn't mean oil companies won't use it as an excuse to raise prices.

    And some off-shore rigs are already being evacuated ...
