In addition to those, if he had ever officially released a 1978 live version of Prove It All Night, the guitar playing on that would be up there. Or if he ever decides to release his pre-Columbia work with Steel Mill, you'd hear some amazing guitar work.

I always thought it was Skunk Baxter on My Old School.
And a technical question here -- if Walsh and Felder are playing simultaneous riffs on Hotel California, can that be a solo? Isn't that a duo?

    Mr Dangerously,

Re Badge: Granted, it's more of a fill than a solo. But it just soars.

    YHS, etc

Listen to that, then listen to Cobain's stuff and tell me who was the better guitarist. I LOVE Cobain, but he's so fucking overrated as a guitarist. [/rant]

I like Clapton's guitar playing a lot, but sometimes his lyrics are so mongoloid I have to giggle. Badge may be a love song; I always think of the mentally challenged couple on L.A. Law:

I told you not to wander 'round in the dark.
I told you 'bout the swans, that they live in the park.
Then I told you 'bout our kid, now he's married to Mabel.

You know, my favorite Springsteen (in addition to everything) was a bootleg from the Roxy in '78. I wore that cassette out and I no longer have it, unfortunately. So many great songs, such a great performance...

The intro to Cougar's "I Need A Lover" is nowhere to be found.

    Put out I am completely.

Still like El Mocambo over Montreaux.

Did "All Day and All of the Night" make it on there? I didn't see it.
