No guilt about anything I like. I did have an awkward moment one afternoon when I was playing Southern Culture on the Skids and one of the priests from my church pulled up next to me. SCotS could make Baby Shark sound dirty.

Baron, it's the kind of fare my mother would have on the car radio while chain-smoking and taking me to the orthodontist - and I am very wistful for those days.

Christopher Cross is the Lennon of yacht rock.

Again, good and full of pop.

But why is she on her knees in front of an Orthodox priest at the beach?

MC's version of "Rode Hard and Put Up Wet" is outstanding.

Whoops. I was thinking of Marshall Chapman. One of my guilty pleasures.

And it's impossible not to sing along with "Waterloo." Simply impossible.

The group I mentioned earlier is an entire show of Yacht Rock covers. I'm looking forward to it.

Some of these songs y'all mention ... shouldn't people have heard of these bands or at least one of their songs before they can be considered a guilty pleasure?

Before CBS kept trotting out "One Shining Moment," they put their NCAA Tournament video montage to this.

Figure out who won that season ...

    Hmmm ...

    "Nightrider"
    "Shine A Little Love"
    "Twilight"
    "Last Train to London"
    "The Diary of Horace Wimp"
    "Mr. Blue Sky"

Not a guilty pleasure. Looks quite legitimate from here ...

Nostalgia, 2020 style, is going to YouTube, finding "ABBA SuperTrouper: Full Album," hitting play and realizing you remember every song on there, because it was one of your mother's favorite LPs.

    I'll help:

I went with the wife to see him do an acoustic show a few years back. He's one of those guys who you don't fully appreciate what they've accomplished until you see him do a show like that. Great concert and, in two hours, I think there might have been two songs (probably some of his more recent stuff) that I didn't recognize. And I'm hardly an über-fan of his. Just know him from listening to the radio and knowing most of his hits.
When somebody can roll through about 20 of their songs and you know every one of them, that's a hell of a career.
