It'll be something stupid involving "Cardinals rule."

Something along the lines of - "And Louisville completes its emotional journey to the championship!" I think Nantz is now trolling those who make fun of him for the stupid lines by not using puns.

This proves that you can shame someone into changing their behavior. My faith in society is restored.

What the hell was his line about the father, the son and the holy ghost? Really weird.

That was very awkward and unnecessary. It made me think Marquette and Notre Dame had made the title game, which would require Mike Brey to do something in the tournament.

He was saying that's why Siva wears number three. But yeah, it just created an awkward silence as he had no segue out of it.

Nantzologists aren't discounting the idea it was a reference to Don McLean's American Pie.

He actually used an old-school Nantz during the semis, when he said, "Not Fab Five young, but fabulous nonetheless!" So he still has it in him.

I trust he began the broadcast with his usual, "Hello, friends."
