Pfft, this is nothing new for us folks here in Iowa when it comes to Grinnell Basketball. They do this with regularity.

And it's still crazy as hell when you read the line stats.

And the scoreboard don't lie.

I like the kid who scored 89 last year scoring 7 in this game while watching his record get bested by a mere 49 points.

I adore this stat line.

138 points, 108 shot attempts, 71 three point attempts, ZERO assists.

That, my friends, is the best definition you'll ever see of a gunner. "Pass" is an entirely foreign word to this kid.

 

In his defense - so to speak - every guy on that team is the definition of a gunner.

They won their first two games 130-101 and 111-100. That's how they play.
