Hola amigos and amigas. Just thought I'd check in.

The weather here has been hot, but it's been perfect. My first time going to the ocean has been great and I love it here.

Anyone else vacation here or anywhere around PCB?

Long Beach Resort overlooking the Gulf. I love it here and am not really looking forward to leaving Thursday.

 

Go to Sharky's for late night drinks in the tiki bar watching the surf come in...stay away from the food -- overpriced and the service sucks
Angelo's is pretty good for steak; Pineapple Willie's ribs are overrated, to me, but the drinks are good.
Bishop's for breakfast buffet is solid.

where's Long Beach -- on Front Beach Road or down on Thomas Drive?

 

Well, it is 1:30 a.m. there. Of course, he should be at the beach doing non-swimming related activities with young ladies. So, good question Walter, what the fuck is he doing here?

 

The place is pretty much dead right now, except for a few high school kids running around the pool. I've only seen a handful of girls my age here...

And also, it's just 11:30 here.

 

OH, and don't know how your alcohol prices are in your part of Kentucky, but if you are driving, stop in Georgia on the way back and stock up...

 

How the hell is it only 11:30 in Florida if it is 12:30 in Texas?

 

PCB is its own little world.

My little part is dry, but there's a town about 25 minutes away that's wet.

And yeah, I goofed. I guess it is already 12:30 here...it's been a long damn day.
