    Another fan of Baker Street

I'll also throw out Bobby Keys on Lennon's "Whatever gets you through the night."

How is it that no one has mentioned Dick Parry's searing solo from Pink Floyd's "Money?" The world wonders.

I saw Pink Floyd mentioned for "Money" but I'd have to take the sax solo on "Us And Them" from the same album (from 5:25 in to 6:20):

    Bobby Keys division ...

    Sweet Virginia
    Coming Down Again
    Brown Sugar

Believe it or not, I actually like the sax solo at the end of One More Night by Phil Collins.

And yeah, Dick Perry kicks ass throughout Dark Side Of The Moon.

    Q: What's the range of a saxophone?

A: Oh, about 50 yards with a good throw. [former trumpet player]

Almost forgot about MIchael Antunes from John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band with "On The Dark Side," "Tender Years" and everything else from the Eddie and the Cruisers soundtrack:

    This one's from the sequel:

The late '80s Irish band the Waterboys could throw down some great brass - catch the sax solo on the intro to "A Girl Called Johnny." Even better, the trumpet solo (with stormy background piano) on "Don't Bang the Drum."

"Scenes from an Italian Restaurant," the circa-80s live version ... that guy kicked it pretty good.

That was my nomination too, though the studio version. I played tenor sax in high school and wore out the tape trying to mimic that solo.

The Long Run - The Eagles
    Maneater - Hall and Oates
    Rio - Duran Duran

I'll throw in the B side of Billy Joel's 52nd Street. Good stuff
Hip To Be Square/I Want a New Drug - Huey Lewis and the News
Anything by Earth Wind and Fire

    I know - I'm a total pussy.
