Geoff Jenkins is the 115th greatest slugger of all-time? Jenkins isn't the 115th greatest anything, other than ranking high on the Brett Favre doppelganger list.

I might want to re-think the way I feel about this statistic.

I think the new parks, expansion and a little juice might have a little to do with some of the guys.

I also think as their careers wind down and they have some softer numbers everything normalizes itself out.

Pujols as the top righty was interesting to me, as well.

I always thought Scott Cooper was pretty good.

I've had Manny on enough fantasy teams to know he puts up insane numbers on a very consistent basis...

Barring any steroid confessions, he's going to Cooperstown on the first ballot.

He's still not in Teddy Ballgame's class though.

Umm, OK. What steroid confessions did McGwire cop to? He ain't in.

Other than Red Sox fanboiloosers, who gives a fuck.

There's Williams and a bunch of guys who aren't close to him.

I'd like to say Manny but damn Yaz was pretty awesome, especially for the dead ball era (Triple crown with .301 avg.), and Rice was smoking when 25 HRs and 75 RBIs was pretty good for a corner inf., plus Boggs was a great hitter (not so in clutch, at least as far as my memory.)

Knew I'd stir up someone. As I said, great hitter, still a lousy player. Out of the batter's box you'd never ever say to a kid "play that way."
