Great WSJ article on the recruitment of Lil' Romeo

    How many 12th men's parents are interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and ESPN? His fame, and tendency to say outlandish stuff, gets him publicity. I have seen and read more from him in the last 10 months during this recruiting process than in the '90s when he was still musically relevant.

    I'm not saying Floyd isn't well within his right as an NCAA coach to give Miller a scholarship. He is. I just have a suspicion he's opening a can of worms.

    yeah, but that 12th guy is almost never on full scholarship.

    If by "almost never" you mean "almost always," yes. It's the 14th and 15th guys who aren't on scholarship.
