That's a great call. I've always loved this line:

"Mario Andretti would've sure been proud/of the way I was movin' when I passed that crowd."

    Thought of some more...

    "Dang Me" by Roger Miller
    "Lincoln Duncan" by Paul Simon
"Billy the Kid" by Billy Joel
"Long, long, long" by the Beatles
    "Triad" by CSNY
"Blowin' your mind" by Gordon Parks - Shaft's Big Score! theme song, which is WAY better than Isaac Hayes' version
    "Picture Book" by the Kinks

Now I've got to check my mp3 list.....

Including the immortal "Goodbye, Goodbye", played over the closing credits in Fast Times.

Don't know if I can consider Picture Book a "long-forgotten" song since it was just used in a commercial last year.

My first show was Oingo Boingo at the Palladium in L.A. Best energy of any group I've ever seen.

Favorite video by OB (I bear a heavy resemblence to Danny Elfman. People always asked me if I was his younger brother.)

What commercial was that? I've never heard it anywhere else but XM. Actually, just about every song I've listed I've come across on XM. All the more reason why satellite radio rules.

    Some more...

"We gotta get you a woman" Todd Rundgren
    "Nostradamus" Al Stewart
    "Brother Louie" Stories
