Great Songs (underrated and long-forgotten category)

Disneyland Grad Night, June of 1983. Someone at the House O' Mouse got the idea to book Berlin to play Grad Night.

Berlin is playing out on Tom Sawyer's Island on the stage facing the Haunted Mansion. And Terri Nunn is bombed off her very cute ass. What limited bits of this that I saw involved Nunn flouncing around the stage, babbling like Paula Abdul on too many meds and nearly pulling a header into the water.

I'm thinking that someone at the House O' Mouse wasn't booking acts very much longer after this.

Cape, I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before on here. But you MUST get a copy of Colin Hay's acoustic version of "Overkill." It's one of the best performances I've ever heard. Back when I was burning mix CDs, this song was making its way onto about half of them.

When Geraldo had his first show on ABC he used Steve Goodman's song The City of New Orleans. Love that song. Pisses me off that every time I hear it Geraldo comes to mind.
