    Makes me smile. It'll get him ready for the playoff coverage.

    Hopefully he'll start writing again as well. I'm sure his fingers are itchy.

    I wanted to bump this up the topic board. I saw Pete on t.v. yesterday. He looks good and I'm so happy to see him back. I wonder if Fenway gave him a standing ovation or noticed he was in the house??

    Well, the thank you part of it is free. The part where he starts breaking down pitchers is definitely Insider only access.

    I was very happy to see Peter Gammons back on tv again. He is so intelligent about baseball and really does his homework unlike say Dan shaughnessy.

    As far as I'm concerned, ESPN just got their cleanup hitter back. Tino, Krukie, and Destrates couldn't score runs with Stark, Buster, and Tim K. on base.
