I would bet folding money there was some horrific shit going on in his house growing up.

Doesn’t excuse him now, but he is fucked up. His reactions are terrifying. He doesn’t show one bit of remorse.

Assuming he makes an NBA roster (a very big assumption), he will have his lights punched out by a teammate or an opponent before the regular season starts. And the league will do nothing, because it doesn't want him around.

    Nor should it.
He really looks like he doesn’t see the problems in his actions. Sociopath.

I’m amazed he made it through his rookie year incident free.

"You can't be sneaky and do those kinds of things."

You can. You just also have to be a Hall of Famer.

Amazing thing: He scored 40 in one game. Late in the season, when teams are totally mailing it in.

He came from a middle-class background. Grew up in a good neighborhood, about as lily-white as it gets without actually being gated. Went to one of the two private Christian schools that all of the Jacksonville evangelicals are desperate to get their kids into. The school is a bit of a sports factory, especially basketball and baseball. I know we never really know what goes on in a kid's household but on the surface, no one has heard of any horror stories. Wasn't coached by his father, so that trap isn't there. Who knows. Maybe he's just got a punk-ass mean streak and always will.

Providence is one, is Trinity Christian the other?

I just don’t think people are born with those mean streaks. Somehow they are learned.

Evangelical and only child. Vicious and selfish combination
