    Posting Job Description Responsibilities include:

    Site-wide design and maintenance
    including section and page layout, design
    of page headers, icons, branding

    > Work with development team to revise
    and review tasks and projects

    > Creation of daily graphics and templates

    Requirements:

    A firm grasp of web design from page
    design to style guides to cutting optimized
    images to the coding of web pages

    Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and a working
    knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javacript

    Front end Flash skills are a must.
    Actionscript experience preferred

    Knowledge of sports preferred

    Education:

    B.A. in a related field preferred

    Good to see that knowledge of sports is "preferred" for a job at si.com.

    It's a design job...you can still layout pages in a splashy manner without needing to know how to figure a slugging percentage.
